MentorBuilt News: Investigative Report - Is Bailey Kahl behind MB?

After an innocuous post on the FRC Discord, the mods are framing Bailey Kahl for a crime he says he didn't commit. Here at MentorBuilt, we take these allegations seriously, so we're bringing you an exclusive, hard-hitting investigative report. Is Bailey Kahl behind MentorBuilt? We investigated to find out.

"[The Discord post] was just a joke," Kahl admits, choking back tears, "I didn't know it would go this far!" When asked for comment, a mentor on a well-respected Boston FRC team that Kahl used to also mentor responded, "I raised him better than this. Bailey learned his lesson about social media from that Snapchat fiasco on Chief Delphi. No way he’s behind this."

The satire blog popped up overnight and has garnered over 20,000 views in its debut week. The blog is noted by the community for its juvenile humor and low-effort content. When reached for comment, MentorBuilt refused to confirm or deny Kahl's involvement.

Spectators of the situation are doubtful. "How could one college student create 35 different articles in such a short time," they ask. Inside sources report that the recent release of ‘Red Dead Redemption 2’ has consumed large swaths of Kahl’s time, as he has a well known love for cowboys. A former manager of Kahl's at a company that rhymes with “Rex Bobotics” stated, "He didn't write that stuff! Have you read ‘Six Alternatives to Yelling Robot’? It’s hilarious! There is no way Bailey could have written it!"

Kahl has been insistent that he is not behind what no one is calling "the greatest website of all time" and at least one Discord moderator has called "really really dumb."  At least one Chief Delphi moderator has classified the site as spam and has repeatedly deleted mentions of the website, helping to ease the pressure on Kahl.

"I'm not sure what will happen," Kahl says, "Hopefully this all blows over by next week when MentorBuilt is all out of new ideas and stops posting."
